CSIR ISTC Diploma Courses Admissions 2016 – 2017


Hey, are you interested in learning Diploma Courses under the Indo-Swiss Trading Center (ISTC)? Yes, you can achieve the same through the wonderful opportunity made by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). CSIR of Central Scientific Instrumentation Organization in collaboration with the INDO-SWISS Trading Center has officially announced their admission notification towards the Diploma Courses for the academic year 2016 – 2017. Here, you have to attend the entrance examination, which is scheduled to be held on 10th July 2016. This admission is common to both Girls and Boys.

INDO-SWISS Diploma Courses Admission 2016-2017:
Number of Seats: There are totally 108 seats available with the INDO-SWISS Trading Center Diploma Course and reservations are applicable as per the rules of Government of India.
Age Limit:The candidates willing to apply online for this INDO-SWISS Trading Center Diploma Courses admission must be born on or after 1st August 1997 (1st August 1994 for SC/ST candidates only).
Educational Qualifications:Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination fromrecognized school / board. Those who have appeared in theMatriculation Examination are also eligible to apply.

Application Fees:
The candidates who are interested in applying for the upcoming entrance examination of INDO-SWISS Trading Center Diploma courses admission are requested to pay
Rs. 1000/- for General and OBC Candidates and
Rs. 500/- for SC/ST Candidates

Steps to Apply for Indo-SWISS Trading Center Diploma Courses:
The last date to apply online for the INDO-SWISS Trading Center diploma courses ends by 31st March 2016.
Candidates are advised to use only the online mode and any other modes won’t be entertained.
The applied application has to taken a print out and sent to the following address,
"The Principal, Indo- Swiss
Training Centre, CSIR-CSIO, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh-160 030"on or before June 10,2016 by 5.00 PM.



IUAC Ph.D Admission through CSIR-UGC NET Score


Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) – New Delhi is an autonomous organization under the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the accelerometer based experimental research topics, especially on Material Science, Accelerometer Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Atomic Physics indeed.

According to the official notification issued by the IUAC for the Ph.D Admission through CSIR-UGC NET score, applications are invited from highly motivated, research-oriented and CSIR-UGC NET (JRF) qualified candidates (June 2015/Dec 2015) having First Class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST)in M.Sc/M.Tech in Physics/Physical Sciences/Applied Physics (year 2015 or later). The student must have had Physics and Mathematics in their Bachelor's degree.

IUAC Ph.D Admission Selection Process 2016:
  ü The selected students will be required to join immediately in the Ph.D Programme and they will be registered at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi.
  ü All the students will be required to undergo two semesters of course work after joining IUAC.
  ü The students are expected to finish Ph.D within four years from the date of joining and will be provided free hostel accommodation and fellowship as per CSIR/UGC norms.
