Inter University
Accelerator Centre (IUAC) – New Delhi is an autonomous organization under the
University Grants Commission (UGC) for the accelerometer based experimental
research topics, especially on Material Science, Accelerometer Physics, Nuclear
Physics, and Atomic Physics indeed.
According to the
official notification issued by the IUAC for the Ph.D Admission through
CSIR-UGC NET score, applications are invited from highly motivated,
research-oriented and CSIR-UGC NET (JRF) qualified candidates (June 2015/Dec
2015) having First Class (6.5 grades point out of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks
for SC/ST)in M.Sc/M.Tech in Physics/Physical Sciences/Applied Physics (year
2015 or later). The student must have had Physics and Mathematics in
their Bachelor's degree.
IUAC Ph.D Admission Selection Process
2016:
ü The selected
students will be required to join immediately in the Ph.D Programme and they will
be registered at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi.
ü All the students
will be required to undergo two semesters of course work after joining IUAC.
ü The students are
expected to finish Ph.D within four years from the date of joining and will be
provided free hostel accommodation and fellowship as per CSIR/UGC norms.

Please visit the
official website for the detailed information about the eligibility criteria
and other educational qualifications needs. Those who clear the minimum
eligibility criteria are requested to send their application as per the
prescribed format along with the NET (JRF) Score to,

Note: The last
date for the submission of the IUAC Ph.D Admission through NET JRF Score ends
